To provide a new retail experience for IKEA‘s beds and mattresses, CT.LAB has displayed a comfortable sleeping environment with the use of interactive projection mapping. The interactive design aims to bring customers in experiencing a comfortable and natural sleeping atmosphere by triggering human sensation.

The bedding zone presents product features through four different interaction points. Through the form of interactive projection mapping, the bedding zone innovatively integrates Nordic plants, feathers, aroma and other natural elements into pillows and quilts. Besides, the natural elements are also incorporated into the whole zone. Base on the relaxing tone of the products, the work presents a comfortable sleeping environment with sense of immersion, in which it effectively builds a connection between the brand and consumers in today’s new retail era.
