Blooming is an artwork incorporating digital media art and paper art, the innovative integration between these two types of art provides more effective visual experience and interactive effect. The installation includes eight pieces of carved paper, each carved paper consists of a sensor, a motor and a microprocessor. When audience approaches to the installation, the sensor receives signals and the motor is triggered to simulate a scene of blooming. However, the carved paper will turn reversely when audience leaves from the installation.
